Free Barbie Shawl Crochet Pattern

6 sc = 1 inch

Tools

2mm hook.
Crochet thread. Size 10. I used'Aunt Lydias Classic' in 'Shaded Purple' or 'White'.
 2.5mm hook.
 Crochet thread size 3 (Purple).

 Part 1:Starting triangle.

 2mm hook.

Crochet thread. Size 10. I used'Aunt Lydias Classic' in 'Shaded Purple' or 'White'.

Row 1:
Ch 59, sc in 7th ch from hook, *ch 5, sk next 2 sts, sc in next st* Repeat from * to * across. Turn.
Rows 2 - 3:
Ch 2, sc in ch 3 of ch 5 in previous row. *Ch 5, sc into next ch 3 of ch 5 of previous row*. Turn.
Row 4:
Ch 2, sc in ch 3 of ch 5 in previous row. (Ch 5, sc into next ch 3 of ch 5 of previous row) 2 times. Ch 5, sk next 2 ch 5 in previous row,sc in next ch 3 of ch 5 in previous row.(Ch 5, sc into next ch 3 of ch 5 of previous row) 5 times. Ch 5, sk next 2 ch 5 in previous row,sc in next ch 3 of ch 5 in previous row.
Rows 5 - 12:
Ch 2, sc in ch 3 of ch 5 in previous row. *Ch 5, sc into next ch 3 of ch 5 of previous row*. Turn.
Row 13:
Ch 2, sc in ch 3 of ch 5 in previous row. Ch 5, sc into next ch 3 of ch 5 of previous row. Fasten off.
Part 2: Edging.
 2.5mm hook.
 crochet thread size 3 (Purple).
Row 1:
Ss into a ch sp along edge to join new color, (sc, ch 2, sc, ch 2, sc, )in same sp, *ch 2(sc, ch 2, sc, ch 2, sc, )in next ch sp* Repeat from * to * around. Ch 2, Ss into beg ch sp to join. Fasten off.
