Free Crochet Pattern ~Foot Bag Hacky Sack

Sac in photo made with some scrap worsted weight yarn & 3.5mm hook. Great size for beginner's.

This Hacky Sack (or Foot Bag) Game was so popular when I was younger. I remember spending hours kicking these little crochet balls, trying to keep them in the air. As I remember the rules went something like if yours hits the ground you lose. Some played special points for special moves.. (Not me..I just wasn't that awesome!). So I have decided to pass on this fun and active game to my children. And making the sacks has kept my fingers busy. Here is a FREE pattern to make your own!

Using yarn and a small enough hook to achieve tight sts.(so your 'rice' doesn't get out.). The thicker the yarn the bigger the sack will be.
