Learn How To Make A Slip Knot By Niftynnifer

I always start with a slip knot.

Although the regular knot has it's advantages, it also has it's disadvantages. Being unable to adjust it's size easily is it's biggest disadvantage to myself and many others.

Here I will teach you the easiest way I know how to make the slip knot.

Crochet Crazy Fun Hat Yarn Make Over Free Idea By Niftynnifer

My 5 year old daughter asked me for a ''Yarn Make Over''.....and this is what we came up with...

Free Crochet Pattern ~Half Double Crochet Beanie

Hat in picture is Size 3 Months

Here is my pattern for hdc beanies..Sizes Newborn to Adults with measurements! Enjoy

Yarn Peg Board For Braided Ties And So Much More

After watching me struggle many times to get the right lengths of hair for hats and braided ties...
Look what my husband, Shawn made me!

The pegs are all removable. The first one gets lifted, the yarn end goes in the hole, and replace the peg to hold it in place.

Wrap the yarn repeatedly around the length you want. I still have to add the lengths to the peg board. This length is at 16 inchs.

Cut all the yarn at one end in the same location.!

Remove from board. Tah Dah! They are all the same length!

Now all I need is a hole in the back of the board...For easy hanging and storage when not in use....
