Free Amigurumi Easter Bunny Crochet Pattern By Niftynnifer

For a better understanding of my Crochet Patterns, please refer to my-special-crochet-abbreviations.

I used:
1.5 MM hook.
(Aunt Lydias' Shaded Purples') Crochet Thread Classic 10
Small safety pins(Round markers)
Needle
Small Safety eyes
Fibre fill(or stuffing)
Yellow embroidery thread
Hot Glue
Sparkle 3D Fabric paint
Small felt heart
Small flower beads(for the necklace)







Notes:
Working in continuous rounds with round markers for best results.
Use hook required to obtain gauge or tight enough stitches to hide any stuffing inside.
Hide ALL knots and ends inside.

Gauge:
Approx. 10 rows = 1 inch
Approx. 9 sc = 1 inch

Arms, Legs & Ears
Using Purple
Round 1:
Ch 2, 6 sc in 2nd ch from hook.(6sc)
Round 2:
Sc to join.(mnr) Sc in same st. 2 sc in ea st around.(12sc)
Rounds 3-12:
Sc to join.(mnr) Sc in ea st around.(12sc)
Round 13:
Sc to join.(mnr) Sc in ea st around. Ss to join. Fasten off, leaving a tail(Approx 6 inches).(12sc)

Started at top of Head
Row 1: (Ears)
Taking 2 ear pieces, flatten them, ss to join new yarn in side of one ear(working right to left), sc along open edge, joining 2 pieces together as one. (12sc)











Round 2:
Ch 1, turn. Sc in next fl.(mnr) Sc in ea fl around. (24sc)
Rounds 3-6:
Sc to join.(mnr) Sc in ea st around. (24sc)
Round 7:
Sc to join.(mnr)Sc in same st. *Sc in next 3 sts, 2 sc in next st* Repeat from * to * around.(30sc)
Position and Pop in those safety eyes.













Rounds 8-11:
Sc to join.(mnr) Sc in ea st around. (30sc)
Round 12:
Sc to join.(mnr) *Sc in next 2 sts tog, sc in next 3 sts*. Repeat from * to * around.(24sts)
Round 13:
Sc to join.(mnr) *Sc in next 2 sts tog, sc in next 2 sts*. Repeat from * to * around.(18sts)
Using Yellow embroidery thread and a needle, carefully embroider a little nose and mouth. Add any other facial features now. Add some stuffing too!















Round 14:
Sc to join.(mnr) *Sc in next 2 sts tog, sc in next st*. Repeat from * to * around.(12sts)
Round 15:
Sc to join.(mnr) *Sc in next 2 sts tog*. Repeat from * to * around. (6sts)
Round 16:
Sc to join.(mnr) Sc in same st. 2 sc in ea st around.(12sc)
Round 17:
Sc to join.(mnr) Sc in same st, * sc in next st, 2 sc in next st*. Repeat from * to * around.(18sc)
Round 18:
Sc to join.(mnr) Sc in same st, * sc in next 2 sts, 2 sc in next st*. Repeat from * to * around.(24sc)













Round 19:
Sc to join.(mnr). Sc in ea st around. (24sc)
Round 20: 
Sc to join.(mnr)Sc in same st. *Sc in next 3 sts, 2 sc in next st* Repeat from * to * around.(30sc)
Rounds 21-22:
Sc to join.(mnr). Sc in ea st around. (30sc)
Flatten out chest, flatten arms, position and pin them in desired location at approx Round 21.(Sides of body).















Sew them in place with needle and tails.















Rounds 23&24:
Sc to join.(mnr). Sc in ea st around. (30sc)
Round 25: 
Sc to join.(mnr)Sc in same st. *Sc in next 4 sts, 2 sc in next st* Repeat from * to * around.(36sc)
Rounds 26-29:
Sc to join.(mnr). Sc in ea st around. (36sc)
Round 30:
Sc to join(mnr). *Sc in next 2 sts tog, sc in next 4 sts*. Repeat from * to * around.(30sts)
Round 31:
Sc to join(mnr). *Sc in next 2 sts tog, sc in next 3 sts*. Repeat from * to * around.(24sts)
Rounds 32-33:
Sc to join.(mnr). Sc in ea st around. (24sc)
Round 34:
Sc to join.(mnr). Sc in ea st around. (24sc) Ss to join. Fasten Off.
SET ASIDE

Take legs, tie them in the center with tails to join together.













Position them at bottom of bunny. Match up sts, and pin legs in place.















Stuff body.















Starting in back, between legs, working right to left, connecting the body and legs together.
Round 1: working on inside loops only, matching up stitches.(You could also sew this closed around if you find it easier/to your preference).













Ss into inside loops to join new yarn. Ss in ea inside loop around. Ss to join. Fasten Off, leaving a tail.
Using a needle and tail sew in between legs closed, neatly. Hide all ends inside bunny!















I then decided to add some sparkly 3D paint to the ears, cheeks, and a heart on the chest.















I later removed the heart(carefully) and replaced it with a white felt heart. I also beaded a string and tied it around the neck.
