This will make a tassel approximately 3-4 inches long.
You will need:
Yarn or thread (or whatever fibre you choose).
Scissors.
Wrap one or more colours of yarn around 4 fingers approximately 40 times. Cut them at same length along one side.
Use one piece of black to tie all pieces together in centre(tightly!). Use the left over from this piece to fasten to projects.
Tie another piece of thread around the sides, closer to the top (tightly). Trim ends for a cleaner look.
So simple, and elegant.
Try using embroidery thread. Simple and easy.
