Understanding The Single Crochet Stitch

Understanding The Foundation Chain

You don't know how to crochet? No Problem. Here I will teach you the 'Foundation Chain'. I recommend practising your chain before you move onto the first row. Free Crochet Pattern ~ Reversible Dish Mat

http://www.niftynnifer.com/2014/07/free-crochet-pattern-reversible-dish-mat.html
This pattern is for a Reversible Dish Mat. It will finish as a thick material to hold lots of water! I used approximately 375 grams of Peaches & Creme Cotton Yarn. This cotton is great for water absorbtion.

Some of us do not have dishwashers, or prefer to allow their dishes to air dry. This will finish up to be an approximately 18 1/2 inches x 13 inches reversible dish mat. Use it to replace that dirty old dish tray under your dish rack, or all on it's own.

My Husband Made A Mushroom Bird House ~ By Niftynnifer

My husband never stops amazing me with his wood projects. This funky, colourful Mushroom can house multiple bird nests, while adding a conversation piece to the yard. He built it, and the children and I painted it. So many hours of creativety.
This Mushroom has 14 holes, that lead to 14 completely seperated, private bird homes.
