My husband has been at it again! I asked him to make our daughter a picnic table for her barbies, and here is what he came up with... With me working along side him, I was able to get some photos & instructions for you to make one for your little lady...

Please use all safety protection required for this project.
Air nailer with 1 inch Brad nails
Table Saw
Router
Sand paper
Wood
Measuring tape or ruler
Pencil or Pen
Start by cutting a thick strip of wood 3 1/4 inches wide x 1/2 inch thick x 47.25 inches long.
Cut the strip in the following sizes:
A~ Cut 4 pieces 4 3/4 inches long with 27 degree angles. (Legs)
B~ Cut 2 pieces 4 inches long. (Cross piece)
C~ Cut 1 piece 6 1/4 inches long. (Centre support)
D~ Cut 2 pieces 7 inches long. (Bench supports)
Then using another piece of wood, cut the following sizes:
E~ Cut 2 pieces 1 1/4 inch x 8 1/2 inches x 1/2 inch thick. (Benches)
F~ Cut 1 piece 4 1/2 inches wide x 8 1/2 inches long x 1/2 inch thick. (Top piece)
Router Pieces Labelled E & F edges with 1/4 round router bit.
Line up the top of leg (A) flush with top of cross piece(B), so outside of leg(A) lines up with bottom corner of cross piece(B).
Air nail together. Repeat on other side.
Measure inside of leg(A) 1 1/4 inch from bottom. Mark it with your pencil. Centre bench support(D) across, so that an even amount sticks out on each side, and the bottom of bench support(D) lines up with your pencil marks. Air nail together. Repeat on other side.
Make 2
Measure 3 1/2 inches to centre of each end piece on top of bench support(D).
Stand up your finished ends. Line up and centre the centre support(C) with pencil marks on bench supports(D). Air nail together.
Centre top piece(F). Air nail to base cross pieces(B).
Centre Bench Seats(E) on bench supports(D). Air nail to bench supports(D).
Finish up by sanding away any slivers or rough edges.
