I made some more washcloths.
These ones are super easy. A great project for beginners. These ones work up pretty quick and look great prettied up with ribbons.
Special Abbreviation
Ch = Chain
Ea = Each
Hdc = Half Double Crochet
St(s) = Stitch(es)
Bl = Back Loop
Finished cloth measures approximately 9x10 inches.
I used:
4.5 mm hook
Peaces & Cream Cotton. Medium 4. Colour: 'Billowing Blues'.
Instructions
Row 1:
Ch 29. Hdc in 3rd ch from hook. Hdc in ea ch across. (27hdc)
Rows 2 -12:
Ch 2. Turn. Hdc in ea bl across.
Border
Round 1:
Ch 2. Turn. Hdc in next st.{*Sk next st. 2 hdc in next st*. Repeat from * to * across. 2 hdc in side of ea row across. 3 hdc in next corner}. 2 hdc in next st. Repeat from { to } around. Ss in beg ch 2 to join. Fasten off & weave in ends.
